Just wanted to say that I'm sorry about the delay with publishing next chapter of The Chiropractor. I'm close to finishing it but it takes longer than I'd planned. Life has been so hectic and work is just impossibly demanding these days that I progress very slowly. So at least I thought I'd share what this process looks like for me. Sort of a mini-Behind the Scenes if you will:
While I'm using AI to help me out, it turns out this sometimes takes even more time than writing everything by myself. I'm not just writing one prompt and taking the AI answer as is. I'm giving it a very detailed outline of the chapter, context, emphasizing certain important aspects etc. then I get a section of the story, reviewing and correcting it, giving it notes, fixing, then moving onto the next part etc. and in the end I'm editing EVERYTHING.
And I'm never entirely satisfied with the output, so I'm doing tons of editing, rewriting, deleting and adding stuff so it matches the standard of stories I've set out for myself. This needs to feel authentic. I just can't with thes AI stories with their poetic language that no one actually uses in real life.
I'm also working to train the AI tool on my style and minimize the discrepancies between what it writes and the final result after all my fixes. It gets better, but still far from what I want. So just know that "AI-assisted" doesn't mean 100% AI. It's probably closer to 20-30%.
Also, the positions and logistics of the adjustments that Tim is doing have to make sense, and to make sure that I take into account the actual size of the girl's breasts that I'm writing. The AI is... Not good at that. If you know me, you know just how precise I like to be with exactly how much space the girl's bust occupies, how far it projects, how it exactly feels for the guy, how the girl reacts, etc.
It's kinda funny how annoyed I get with the AI tool, and realizing that only a few years ago I didn't have the privilege to get annoyed by it. But god damnit it's annoying! It's to the point I'm even considering whether it helps me more or makes my life more difficult... 😅
Anyway, yeah, that's where I'm at right now. Hopefully I'll get the next chapter ready in a day or two.
