Hi everyone,
I’m sorry for the lack of updates lately. I wanted to let you know that I’m hard at work on a new animation! I’m currently using the Umbreon model and my plan is to create several specific scenes I’ve been envisioning and stitch them together into one long, cohesive video.
This is a snippet from the first scene. It’s nearly finished—I just have the final simulations left to run.
Here’s a test render. Please keep in mind that the background or lighting might change in the final version, but this should give you a good idea of the overall look and feel.
I’m also working on several other scenes simultaneously. The image above (Umbreon riding) is the second scene, which is also nearing completion. The one after that (Umbreon standing) is a scene I’m still debating whether to include or not.
I really wanted to show you some WIP videos, but due to file size limits with GIFs, I can’t show as much as I’d like today. Even though I’m mostly sharing stills for now, both the first and second scenes are essentially done except for the simulations.
My current goal is to finish and combine about five different scenes. However, I’m a bit worried that waiting to finish everything might take too long. (Of course, I’m expecting to wrap this up quickly, but I’m keeping the possibility of a delay in mind just in case.) I’m torn between posting each scene here as they’re finished or waiting to upload the full compilation at once.
Posting them individually as I go would be faster for you to see, but it might mess up my workflow a bit. If it looks like the final version is going to take a while, I’ll start uploading the completed scenes one by one.
