DESCRIPTION

Hey, sorry I pushed this one so close to the wire, but I've got three options for you again! Got my feet back under me, writing-wise, and just doing a lot better mentally in general. Thanks for being so understanding last month, folks!

I wrote two non-Aetheriad stories this month- I love writing the Aetheriad, but writing something outside it can genuinely be great for my passion and inspiration. And, sure enough, once I wrote those two, I was able to finally crack Ship Gods, an Aetheriad story I've been stuck on since... August?

Edit: Ope, sorry, messed up the tiers for voting again. Sigh.

Without further ado:

  • Ship Gods (Ishveos)- When the luxurious Nipherous begins to sink for no discernible reason, it's up to the crew of the Arbonnelle to save them. (Inspired by the rescue of the Titanic survivors by the RMS Carpathia.)

  • The Dying Soldier Speaks With the Penitent Goddess of War (non-Aetheriad)- In the aftermath of humanity's rebellion against the gods, a dying soldier speaks with the goddess of war in the shade of a willow.

  • The Grey Man (non-Aetheriad)- The Grey Man's assassinated more supers, hero and villain, than he cares to count. When he's hired to kill- or at least, re-kill- the exiled grim reaper turned vigilante Gravestone, he quickly realizes that nothing about the job is what it seems.
