Hello, Milfheim residents! 👋 This is the second preview for Milfheim: The Twisted V04.
Currently, rendering is underway and everything is progressing smoothly. We are now in the process of rendering the final half of V04. Ironically, I’m not entirely satisfied with the parts I poured my heart into, but I personally really like the latter half that I’ve been rendering more casually. Haha. I can’t wait to wrap up the rendering stage and move on to the coding. I will be posting another progress update very soon.
In V04, there is a story about the MC's job interview. This interview storyline is an episode built upon my own personal experiences. Furthermore, Rose, the CEO of the company, and her employees are also based on the real people I encountered during my own interview back then. Phew...
After a year apart, Mary met up with the MC at a park and suggested he interview for a local company run by a friend of hers. She mentioned that even though her friend is the CEO, he would still need to go through the proper interview process. Having no real income other than the state government subsidies, the MC felt a surge of overwhelming emotion at the thought of earning money through his own hard work. It was a touching moment where he finally felt like he was becoming an official member of society.
And while the MC was making a bit of a fool(?) of himself around Mary, she was discussing the interview and working out the schedule with her friend. You probably all met the lovely Mary in V03. Am I right? Haha. After that, the MC received a call from the company and set up the interview date.
Once again, our MC was about to ride his bicycle downtown in the blistering summer heat, dripping with sweat. And once again, saving him from the brutal weather is our Helen—beautiful in both body and mind.
She seems to be gradually finding enjoyment in going places together with the MC. Or maybe it's just her way of compensating him for doing her a favor with the photoshoot, but either way, Helen is now looking after the MC like he’s family. It looks like her maternal instincts toward the MC are practically bursting out.
Coming for a job interview for the very first time in his life, the MC stepped into the office with confidence. Actually, he walked in feeling so incredibly nervous that he barely even knew where he was standing. With his somewhat eccentric personality, what kind of first impression do you think the MC left on them?
Although this company is located inside a large building, the actual scale of the office itself isn't that big. They have branches in other cities, but this headquarters isn't very grand. Oh! And as will be revealed later, this company has an upstairs and downstairs layout. It is a very hot—and soon to be burning hot—company that blends youth with seasoned experience. Hahaha.
Yes, of course, there is someone showing some discomfort at the appearance of a new male. Well, it’s probably a perfectly normal reaction. Fortunately, this guy doesn't seem evil. I could be mistaken, but for some reason, I get the feeling he and the MC might actually hit it off quite well. He looks like the type who will help the MC out in many different ways during his office life ahead. Then again, maybe not!
Guided by a hot lady, our MC is led into a small room. During that brief moment walking behind her, what kind of things do you think he was imagining?
Back then, I was imagining roughly three or four different sex positions with her. And of course, I admired how a man's life truly opens up a whole new world once he starts working in society—but that was just my own delusion. Though in this story, the MC will be allowed to have it all...
Before long, Rose, the company's CEO and Mary's friend, made her appearance. She was carrying two heavy-looking melons on her chest. And she brought with her the scent of a French perfume that everyone recognizes. I can still smell it vividly even now. What kind of expression do you think was on the MC's face when he saw her?
The moment the MC saw her, he got completely caught up in her spiderweb. Naturally, Rose noticed the MC's goofy blank stare right away. But she is well used to this sort of thing by now. In fact, she’s even more accustomed to the clumsy antics of young guys.
Originally, today's interview was supposed to be conducted by the company's team leader, but she is on vacation today. Because of this, Rose, the CEO, ended up meeting the MC in person. What exactly is she looking at on her monitor? Is she multitasking and working while doing the interview, or is she reading through the MC's resume? Or did she happen to discover something shocking on the team leader's computer? Whatever it is, she looks quite serious.
Damn it. She is saying something critical. Is she speaking with a look of dissatisfaction on her face? Did the interview just head in the wrong direction? Since it has come to this, there's no other choice!! We must pounce on her while she's unguarded and use raw male dominance to turn the tables!!! …………… Just kidding, of course. Let's put our trust in the MC once again to see how his smooth talking will steer the interview this time.
