A tumbler designed for party cups.
Tame the cup. Unleash the party.
This takes the familiar convenience of a disposable party cup and puts it into a reusable, tumbler-style form factor that adds a lid and closure to keep out unwanted items.
What does it fit?
I modeled and tested around a number of common party cup shapes and sizes, with the primary focus being the typical 16–18 oz range.
I’m intentionally not going to claim that it fits every disposable cup ever made, because there are a surprising number of shapes and sizes out there. But the design was built around common party cup geometry rather than a single exact cup.
It also works with:
Standard 12 oz cans
Skinny 12 oz cans
Other cups and cans with similar diameters
So while the Party animuL was designed first and foremost for party cups, there is definitely more versatility here than that.
The lid
The snap-on lid includes a large opening so you can drink directly from the cup or can inside.
A separate rotating cover slides into place when you want to close that opening back up—handy for helping keep out bugs, debris, or whatever else is trying to join the party.
The rotating cover simply snaps into place, so there is no glue or special hardware required for assembly.
Designed around real-world use
You may notice the overall shape looks similar to a modern tumbler, but the form really came from the function.
The lower section is sized and tapered specifically around fitting into a wide range of common cup holders. That requirement drives the diameter, taper, and minimum height of the lower body.
The upper section is then driven by the size and shape of the party cups themselves.
So the final form factor is really just the result of solving those two problems together:
Fit the cup. Fit the cup holder.
Make it yours
The model is split into multiple sections, making it easy to mix and match colors without having to get overly complicated.
The lid components also print face-down, which opens the door for adding flush logos, graphics, or other custom designs.
And yes—the entire design prints without supports.
This is the first release of what I expect will become another growing little ecosystem. I already have ideas for handles, additional cup sizes, additional can compatibility, and other variations—but I wanted to get the core design into your hands first and see what everyone does with it.
