DESCRIPTION

Hello!!! sorry for the sudden disappearance from Patreon, in this post I'll explain what happened, so please do read if you have some free time (plus a few important things I want to talk about).

I'm keeping it short because I'm aware my personal problems are not your concerns, I just have to make a small mention of them in order to explain why I suddenly became inactive. My dad has been hospitalized, and I had to spend around a week at the hospital looking over him and taking care of the paper work required on his behalf. On top of that, I am in the process of moving houses to live closer to him, so I can more easily take care of him when needed, which was also a very sudden thing I had to do. So both things combined + my full time job made it nearly impossible for me to find free time to work on creating content. The mental fatigue would also likely make me unable to produce anything good, so I decided to just not touch the main comics I was working on for that reason, since I dislike the idea of just spamming low quality content.

In short, that's the main explanation for why I suddenly became inactive here without warning, as I myself couldn't have predicted any of that coming. I tried at least keeping my X/Twitter account active with some casual posts every now and then, just didn't have any content I found worthy of a Patreon post.

I'm really sorry for not being able to deliver things that you guys had been waiting on, the reason I didn't make a simple announcement talking about those things when they happened, is because I didn't want to make a commotion of any sort, either by having people get dissatisfied with the news, or by having people feel bad for me and want to donate or support me further, since I don't like taking advantage of people's good will.

I'm not sure when I'll be able to go back to a normal active schedule, but for now, I can slowly start working on things again, so expect comics to be released at a reasonable pace from now on. Some people reached out to me privately to ask what was going on, and were very understanding of my situation. So I just want to sincerely thank all of you for all the love and patience, I'm really lucky to have such amazing supporters!

Also, an extra thing I want to say. I feel a bit more at ease if you guys support me only whenever there's content already available that you guys want to access, unless you just happen to be very kind and want to support me financially for the sake of showing some love for my work and don't mind my posting frequency. This content creation thing is a side project unless I happen to be lucky enough to have it be sustainable one day. So for that reason, I simply cant dedicate all my time to it, which equates to having an update schedule that isn't consistent. The amount of time a comic can take to finish is a little hard to predict, since things like length, story or complexity of the panels I'm making can affect it drastically (if you've used AI before, you'll know that it sucks and makes so many errors!!!!!! and I care too much so I spend a lot of time fixing them).

If you read the current description of my tiers, or the pinned public welcome note, I've edited them to make those points very clear. Because with people being aware of that, I don't have this constant pressure at the back of my mind of "I need to put out as much content I can within peoples subscription time so they get their money's worth" since I feel bad for accepting the hard earned money from someone and not delivering as much content as they expected within their membership time.

That's all I have to say, also I'm posting a new full comic in a few minutes. love ya'll <3
