That Day When Suzuki-kun Wasn't the Mob-B! Chapter 271: Holy Curves Surrender
His question was incredibly simple, yet it sent an absolute terror straight through the two female exorcists, Xenovia Quarta and Irina Shido.
They had been officially dispatched to Kuoh Town on a highly critical mission: retrieve the stolen fragments of the holy sword Excalibur from a rogue faction. Because they were hardened combat veterans of the Church, they had naturally looked down on the local Devils. In their minds, the Devils governing this territory lived soft, spoiled, peaceful lives. And based on their recent brief skirmishes with the local peerages, their assumptions had been proven entirely correct. The Kuoh Devils were weak.
But this man standing before them was an entirely different breed of monster.
Xenovia and Irina had absolutely never expected to stumble into a scene like this. They knew Freed Sellzen perfectly well. The man was a crazed, lunatic rogue priest who caused nothing but violent, unpredictable chaos. If he died, the world would genuinely be a better place. In fact, it was their official duty to execute him eventually.
But watching a Devil casually obliterate his head with zero effort or hesitation? That was terrifying.
When the two girls had first burst from the shadows, their holy blades drawn, they had acted on pure instinct to assist a fellow human. But the absolute second they witnessed Finn's brutal execution, a freezing chill gripped their hearts. Finn didn't even need to actively flare his Demonic Power; the sheer, suffocating weight of his natural presence was enough. They instantly realized that if they displayed even a fraction of hostility, this Devil would casually swat them out of existence just like he did to Freed.
Was their pride genuinely worth their lives?
"I... I apologize."
While Irina remained completely frozen in a daze, stunned that a fellow exorcist had just been liquefied in front of her, Xenovia—the far more pragmatic of the two—quickly assessed the terrifying reality.
"We are here on an official retrieval mission. We have absolutely no intention of making enemies out of the local Devils," Xenovia stated, forcefully lowering her massive, cloth-wrapped blade. "As for that man on the ground... he is a wanted criminal. He has no affiliation with us. Neither does the girl standing behind you."
Xenovia naturally recognized Asia. She knew exactly what kind of 'heretic' the blonde girl was. Asia had been a famous, highly revered holy maiden, but she had strayed from the Church's path because her miraculous healing powers extended even to Devils. For a girl who wielded such terrifyingly taboo power, the Church offered no mercy. Xenovia wasn't remotely surprised that Asia had fallen in with rogue elements.
What did surprise Xenovia was that Freed's group was stupid enough to openly antagonize a Devil of this magnitude on his own turf.
Facing the pampered little sisters of the Satans was one thing. But Finn? Xenovia could physically feel the oppressive, mountain-crushing physical power radiating from his broad shoulders.
This sheer density of power... Xenovia thought, her throat incredibly dry. She knew they had to completely submit right now, or they would die.
Gulp.
Her sharp eyes darted toward Freed's twitching, headless corpse, then down to Finn's polished shoe, which was still casually pinning a fragment of the legendary Excalibur to the pavement. She felt entirely helpless.
Finn, however, was mildly surprised to see the two Church enforcers.
He casually evaluated them. Xenovia was the pragmatic, fiercely strict one with a striking blue bob and a green fringe, carrying a massive holy sword wrapped tightly in thick bandages. Irina, on the other hand, was an energetic young woman with brown twin-tails, wielding a sleek katana—an incredibly strange weapon choice for a Western exorcist.
But more than their weapons, Finn couldn't help but stare at their absurdly inappropriate combat gear.
How exactly does the Church justify these outfits? Finn wondered in genuine disbelief.
Both girls were wearing jet-black, skin-tight latex body suits. The incredibly thin, glossy material clung to them like a second skin, ruthlessly vacuum-sealing against their lush, womanly figures. The suits actively pushed up their heavy, swelling breasts, perfectly outlined the tight dip of their waists, and tightly hugged their soft, incredibly smooth thighs. The outfits were so unapologetically lewd and deeply tempting that it briefly distracted him. It felt like he was staring at a pair of highly specialized dominatrices rather than holy warriors of God.
Still, his golden eyes briefly flicked down to the blade trapped beneath his shoe.
Hmm... Excalibur Rapid. Finn mentally dismissed it. While Excalibur was a legendary, mythic weapon in human history, it had been violently shattered in this universe. The broken fragments had been reforged into specialized, highly nerfed blades. The one Freed had tried to use merely granted the user enhanced speed. It was a neat toy, but largely useless to him.
Losing interest in the holy swords, Finn looked back up at the two trembling girls in latex.
"So, let me ask you one more time," Finn's voice dropped into a smooth, dangerously low baritone. "Do you want to fight?"
"No!"
Both Xenovia and Irina answered instantly and in perfect unison. They had absolutely zero desire to die today!
"Good. Then stand over there and stay perfectly quiet," Finn ordered.
"....."
The two heavily armed, highly trained exorcists bit their lips in utter humiliation. They had drawn their blades on a Devil, only to be completely dominated and ordered around like disobedient pets. Yet, they didn't dare speak back. They simply sheathed their weapons and watched in tense silence, genuinely wondering what brutal fate this terrifying Devil had planned for the fallen holy maiden.
What an unfortunate girl... Irina thought, looking at Asia with pity.
"Asia."
Hearing her name, Asia violently flinched. She had been standing completely frozen in a daze. Her innocent mind had been completely overwhelmed by the explosive, bloody violence of Freed's death. Yet, strangely enough, watching the man who had tormented her get killed had brought her a deep, shameful sense of relief.
But now, it was her turn. She was technically a member of Freed's rogue faction. She had colluded with the enemy.
At least... it will be him, Asia thought, her heart trembling. If she had to die today, she was deeply grateful that her life would be taken by the only person who had ever shown her genuine, unconditional kindness.
"You are a member of this dead man's group?" Finn asked, his tone unreadable.
"...Yes," Asia whispered softly, tears welling in her beautiful green eyes. She desperately wanted to lie to him, to beg for her life, but her pure heart wouldn't allow it. She believed this was simply her karma. This was the ultimate, inescapable price she had to pay for falling from grace.
"I see..." Finn's voice remained perfectly calm, utterly devoid of killing intent. "So, are you ready to accept your punishment?"
"I..." Asia squeezed her eyes shut, her lush chest heaving as she braced for the agonizing pain. She knew she was too weak to run, and her immense guilt told her she deserved it.
She waited for the fatal blow.
Flick!
"Ah! It hurts!" Asia squeaked, her hands flying up to cover her forehead. She blinked her teary eyes open, completely stunned.
Finn was standing right in front of her, his hand lowered after gently flicking her forehead. A warm, incredibly affectionate smile graced his handsome face.
"Did you honestly think I was going to kill you, Asia-chan?"
"...You aren't going to kill me, Finn?" Asia asked, rubbing the slight red mark on her forehead, her voice trembling with shock.
"That would be a terrible waste of a beautiful girl," Finn chuckled softly, his golden eyes locking onto hers. "Instead... I am going to make you mine."
He reached out, his thumb gently wiping a stray tear from her cheek. "Become my Bishop, Asia. Let me reincarnate you as a Devil, and stay by my side."
Asia stared up at him in an absolute, breathless daze, her heart hammering wildly against her ribs.
"..............."
In the background, Xenovia and Irina stood entirely frozen, utterly shocked by the sudden, deeply romantic turn of events.
Later that evening, long after Finn and the girls had left the bloody park to quietly discuss Asia's new future...
A dark, imposing figure slowly stepped out from the shadows of the trees. He walked over to the spot where Freed had been violently executed. Though the headless corpse had already been magically disposed of, the lingering, metallic scent of blood and raw Demonic Power still hung heavily in the air.
"These local Devils have grown far too arrogant..."
The figure's eyes burned with a deep, ancient hatred. He sneered at the bloodstained concrete, his mind already churning with a dark ambition. He was going to use this city as a sacrificial pyre. He was going to drag the Satans out, shatter the fragile peace, and finally ignite the glorious flames of the next Great War!
