Hello all fantastic Patrons, I hope you are all enjoying this gorgeous spring! Thank you all for your patience as I determine what's next for the SAS community.
I've taken a step away from my computer during this paused billing cycle; messages other than finance requests will be addressed in early July.
To be upfront, this month has been difficult to navigate in terms of Horrortale. Part of me is ready to leave the project behind after devoting so much life to it for the past decade. But, another part really, really wants to draw the story to its conclusion! It's been a back-and-forth negotiation with myself every day. And that doesn't involve the question of how the rest of the story will be told, be it in single-page installments, or released en-masse when all pages are done. But one thing is certain; I've already completed the next 5 pages of Horrortale over this last month, and I want to share them with you ASAP!
As a thank-you for all your patience and support, I will be releasing Horrortale pages for all Pie patrons in the month of July and August on Sundays. I anticipate at least ten pages released in this time. After that is a complete unknown, including the likelihood of closing the Pie tier for good. Please keep the following updates in mind!
-The Pie tier may close on September 1st. If this happens, July and August will be the final months to access all Pie patron rewards. This mainly involves my massive collection of high-res pages, secret panels, and unreleased artworks. If it closes...-The Cookie tier will upgrade from $1.50 to $2.00, and at-least monthly updates will continue. -The Ice-cream "mature" art collection closes on July 1st. Just a few more days of access to this gallery before it will be taken down. Thank you for supporting these special rewards for over a year :)
If there is new demand for these rewards after the tiers close down, I will assemble such pieces and release them as one-time-purchasable collections. Again, I cannot say this with 100% certainty, but I want everyone to be prepared for this possibility with as much notice as I can give.
Certain beautiful patrons emphasized that they are ready to support my work regardless of the rewards guaranteed for any given month. You are beyond amazing individuals. Still, patron satisfaction is most important to me; your generosity must be met with extra goodies! Thank you all for your flexibility as I navigate this final creative chapter of my life, and thank you all for continuing to breathe life into Sour Apple Studios :)
Note: The potential closing of the Pie tier does not mean the end to Horrortale itself. Further updates over these next few months will offer more details on that decision. Thank you for reading.
