I return from my winter isolation arc…
Hey, how’s it going?
We’ve been a little quiet this month, mostly because we’ve been busy squirrelling away behind the scenes, prepping what’s coming up next year. Hence the radio silence.
Now normally this is the time of year when everyone gets glassy-eyed and starts reflecting on everything that happened.
We’re very much on the “fuck that” wavelength.
Because honestly, everyone here at OtakuVs just wants to wish you all a happy holidays and say a massive thank you for sticking with us this year. 💜
I’ve just wrapped on the next Otachan! script, and I’m happy to report:

I’ll probably do a proper breakdown of it in the Discord over the coming weeks! Which I don’t usually do with stuff still in production - but since this one’s a bit of an OG Otachan call-to-action–style video, it feels right to share some of that process. I’ve been pulling from some really cute refs.
With that done, I’ve got my next set of tasks lined up heading into the new year.And yes — the magazine is one of them.
No, I’ve not prepared nearly as much for it as I probably should have(outside of the artwork 😅).
That said, I’m making it my main focus! And historically, once something enters that “super crazy locked-in” zone, it gets done fast.
So come January, it’s straight back into it - hitting the ground running, building out the next phase properly, prepping episodes 5 / 6 and...
new goodies for you guys too.
For now though, I hope you all get some rest, good food, and a little bit of peace over the holidays.
