I'm back after my court-mandated time off...
What did I miss? π
Now that we've finally wrapped up THE END OF OTAKUVS, I thought it'd be a good time to talk about what's next and what I'll be working on over the coming months.
So, let's get into it!
π¦ Merchandise Update
Now that pretty much all the orders are in, I'll be placing the final manufacturing order next week.
This week is all about giving everything one last quality check with the factory. Things like:
π Making sure the print sizes are correct.
π¦ Checking the cardboard is thick enough to survive shipping.
π Ensuring Otachan's skirt is long enough to cover that fat AAA dumpy.
etc.
Once those final checks are signed off, everyone's orders will be submitted and we'll move into full-scale manufacturing. Hopefully we'll have everything underway before the end of the month!
π° Otachan! Rabbit Season
With the thing that's been occupying my time for like six months finally finished, my attention now shifts back to Rabbit Season.
Episodes 5 and 6 are officially back on my desk, and over the next couple of weeks I'll be figuring out exactly what remains to be done before release.
For anyone who's forgotten how I've been structuring the series:
Episode 1 = Episodes 1 + 2Episode 2 = Episodes 3 + 4Episode 3 = Episode 5... or maybe 5 + 6 π€
That's the big decision I'm currently wrestling with.
I could release Episode 5 on its own later this year...
Or I could knuckle down, finish Episode 6 alongside it, and stick with the double-feature format.
Decisions, decisions.
π Patreon Stickers
I'll also be harvesting all of your precious data this month...
That'll let us start preparing the very first Patreon sticker shipment.
As mentioned in the previous update, we're aiming to begin shipping in August, and I'll also be starting work on the artwork for future sticker batches over the next few weeks.
π¬ Other Projects on the Horizon
Some of you may have noticed that we helped out on the 2Kawaii OVA Teaser recently!
We're also continuing to assist Flou Art, our Rabbit Season Art Director, with his own OVA project. Hopefully we'll be able to share more from that before too long, as it'll be something I'll be working on alongside Rabbit Season.
Beyond that...
I might finally start outlining and writing whatever comes after Rabbit Season.
No promises.
But the ideas are coming to me in fits and starts. π€

I'm genuinely excited to get back into production and see what the rest of the year has in store.
