Minor upkeep detail: I've sent out the next round of invites for the Trello board and (yikes!) my iMessage details to a generous hopefully-not-stalker-material patron. High-fives are in the mail. If you were promised something and I forgot to send it, please let me know and I'll get you sorted.
Most of the work this month was on PhysicsFS, and I'm extremely happy with how it turned out. I'm just letting a few projects update to the latest revision, for sanity checking, and then I'm declaring it a 3.0.0 release. That's just a waiting game at this point. I'm giving this a few more days to marinate.
Unrelated to that, I made an innocent little post on here about porting some games, and whoa, people showed up.
There are so many possibilities being thrown around, I can't possibly even follow up on all of them. I have some leads out there, so we'll see what happens. If they don't pan out, lord knows I can just keep moving down the list for a long time and not run out of games to chase.
But for now, I'll say this: there are two games in the pipeline, waiting for me to sign the contracts.
(it's happening it's happening it's happening it's happening it's)
Barring disaster (which, a lifetime of porting games has taught me can always happen), these two are going to move quickly.
These two projects are a little unorthodox. It's a new thing, uncharted territory, but I think this could be beneficial to everyone beyond these two titles.
I'll be less mysterious about it in early September, I promise, so stay tuned, and as always: thank you for your support!
