[Spicy content is at the end of this post because of spoilers. However, this report contains some spoilers anyway.]
Time flies. But the fact that we didn’t post reports doesn’t mean that we didn’t make progress — actually quite the opposite.
The Goblin Cave update is almost here.
Done:
4 of 5 animations are finished
6 levels of the Goblin Cave are almost done (polishing, placing pin-ups, etc. still to do)
New enemy types including new sprites: Goblins, female goblins, Hobgoblins...
This also includes new Ariana-chokes-an-enemy sprites (worth mentioning because it’s a quite some work to do that for every one of Ariana’s outfits!)
New outfit for Ariana
4 new character drawings (goblin, female goblin, hobgoblin, “special guest”)
Still to do:
Writing scene dialogues (though I guess goblins don’t have to say much)
Writing 2–3 more dialogues with our “special guest”
Writing notes (similar to the necromancer quest)
So, in summary, most of the work is done — we “only” have to put everything together now.
Below you can see some screenshots. The idea is that you can't see much without a torch. A goblin can hide behind every corner :-)
We also have a special guest in the goblin cave. Maybe you already recognize him by his sprite ;-)
Bellow you can see some previous for the scenes. Please not that we have to export them as (lower quality) GIFs for these reports. Patreon doesn't allow mp4 for adult content creators.
For obvious reasons we also post only the first stage of the animations :-)
We still have to animate the hobgoblin scene. But since it's only two characters it shouldn't take that long :-)
