Hey Folks-
Many years ago, I published the Kibbles' Crafting System. This system let you create any item that exists in the SRD + a handful of extra items (+many of Griffon's Saddlebag items in an expansion).
Modular Crafting is not a replacement to that system, rather it is an expansion that offers a different approach to making items—fully customized modifier based construction that allows you to create a varied set of items from scratch.
These items are often less exotic and more standard in behavior (at least, initially) since that are built off standard formula, but your ability to mix and match modifiers means that you can unleash quite a bit of creativity.
This system will in turn have its own expansion called the Artifact Creation System, which will come along soon, and, along with this system, is part of what will be in the next book (KCAA... currently on Kickstarter!), but for the PDF version, it will be shared here as well printed in the book.
This is a v0.8 version, that's more or less the 'full' version of the Demo (there is a free version that has ~half the modifiers) but it is not finished. I'm still going to tune and balance somewhat, and add far more modifiers (especially minor modifiers; those currently have 9/100 for beneficial, negative, and neutral effects, but those are mostly part of the Artifact system, they just have some overlap here).
So feel free to send along any feedback at this point if there is something you want to see, issues you find, or anything you find confusing.
This is ended to work with the original Crafting System's harvesting and gathering rules, but has a simplified standalone system (as well as a gold only variant) for people that want to use it as a standalone.
