When I first started drawing all the haikyuu timeskip characters I didn't really have any favorites or personal headcanons for them and just tried to make them as similar to their canon selves as possible with the limited anatomy knowledge that I had at the time, so it was fun discovering what and who I liked to draw the most, and I think obviously I discovered the Miya twins are probably my favorite to draw,, Kiyoomi too which really is just such a bummer because I don't even like him that much.
But BECAUSE I've drawn the Miya twins sm, I've started to implement my headcanons onto them, like their nose bumps, their dimples, Atsumu's perpetually permanent overgrown roots, and Osamu has just slowly gotten bigger and bigger since the start of all this, because the more Osamu there is the better, obviously. I do like his canon body type and I definitely think he still goes to the gym (he loved volleyball and sports just not as much as Atsumu so I find it hard to believe he'd just totally drop athleticism all together, especially being as competitive as he is) but there's also no way, at least in my beautiful world, he hasn't put on weight, so he's basically constantly bulking, thus beefy, and when he's relaxing, he's all soft. Heheh....hehehehhehehe yah π€€

So yah when you're looking at my old art I like to think of it as a younger Osamu, 22-24, and lately I've been into men in their late twenties to thirties.... And early forties... 42 year old Osamu Miya... Swoon.. I hope Furudate gives us that soon. I'm still not over him blessing us with 30 year old Atsumu with grown out roots. π»
Also I have been working on new merch designs but they are looking really rough rn, just know I will be turning this specific chibi into a sticker when the time does come π
