The scenario portrayed is dated by associated literature to at least one year after the events of Volume 9, wherein the youngest character depicted (Ruby Rose) was 17 years old. Therefore, she will have turned 18 by the time this scene takes place.

As the last vestiges of her stubborn pride crumbled, her mind’s eye flashed back to the time when she’d been stuck in the stocks at the bandit camp. That memory was one she’d wanted to stay firmly buried, but she was quite sure the others had a good guess as to what had happened to her from the “souvenirs” she’d recovered from that incident. Be that as it may, however… Weiss’ own tickling style, while almost as cruel, also seemed more… playful. Affectionate, even…

In other words, it was exactly the same style that Willow had used when tickling her.

Winter couldn’t believe what she was thinking. Was she really beginning to enjoy this?! No, that couldn’t be true! But her inner response to every adoring, tantalizing caress upon her naked feet was, unbelievably, telling her otherwise — and that realization was all it took for her to crack.

“Awww, isn’t our big-footed stoic Winty super-duper ticklish?~” Ruby cooed as she stuck her fingers into the spaces between her victim’s right digits.

“Couldn’t agree more, Ruby,” replied Weiss, teasing at the stems and pads of Winter’s helpless left digits with her right fingers and her taut, tender arch with her left. “We really should’ve done this with her ages ago!”

“YAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEEASE, ANYTHING BUT THE TOOOOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOOOOES!” the former general screamed desperately, but her next words made her sister raise an eyebrow. “I-I’LL GO BAREFOOT MORE OFTEN, I PROMIIIHIHIHIHIHIIISE! EEYYYAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHHH!!!”

Kali was not oblivious to that statement, even as she mewled at the top of her voice from the tickling action of her daughter and said daughter’s special somebody. “NYAAAHAHAHAHEHEHEHEHEEE!! Y-YOU’LL GET USED TO IT, DON’T WORRYYIIEEEHEHEHEHEHEHHEEEEE! MRYYEEEAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHH!!!”

“Tsk tsk, Mom, haven’t you forgotten?” Blake said teasingly as she dug all twenty of her nails into her mother’s right arch. “Nobody gets into ticklish situations better than a mother, too.”

Yang paused her licking of the ball of Kali’s left foot to grin at her girlfriend. “It’s just like you said, Blake — being paw -fully ticklish really does run in the family!”

“Oh, come on, really?!” the younger Faunus chided, but she couldn’t help but smile regardless. “But yeah, it’s easy to see where I got it from — and I’m definitely having as much fun as these big, meaty paws now as I did when I was little~”

A bit of a rush job, this one, but here it is - the second of two commissioned illustrations for my RWBY fanfic, "Winter Is Coming (Apart At The Seams)"! Like I said, it was easier to make than the first pic due to not being as big in scale and having fewer fullbody characters portrayed, but it was still very labor-intensive and I definitely had to cheat a bit by reusing assets from the PSD files for my previous RWBY pics to save time. Ultimately, though, I think it turned out great, and I had so much fun working on both these pics and the story itself!

We're not quite done with this little pic series or with RWBY in general, though - at the behest of my commissioner, there's just one more picture left to go, along with a shorter story to accompany it, that's meant as a nice little epilogue to tie up the remaining loose ends for this little series of RWBY pic/story sets I've been doing for my longtime client over the past two years or so. Those should hopefully be ready by Thanksgiving Day or so (for my fellow Americans, anyway), so stay tuned for them both hopefully when that day comes!
