The votes are in, and a very overdue Christmasy reward is finally sketched! Apparently, Chai, the protagonist of Hi-Fi Rush, got himself stuck in a chimney while trying to play Santa last Christmas, and found himself unable to escape the ravages of an attacking Frostease, one of my own tickle-monster species! This was a bit of a rushed and simple piece and I'm probably gonna botch the background again, but I like what I ended up with. I have no familiarity with this game except for the fact that some of the VTubers and other streamers I follow on YouTube have played it; I might go back and check out their footage to get to know the story more, but Chai is cute and I know a number of friends of mine would appreciate the fact that I've finally gotten to draw him. Hopefully this piece will look better when it's finished, at least. Hope you had a good Christmas and New Year last year, and stay tuned for more fun goodness and big projects this coming year!
