Hi everyone. I don't know how else to start this message, so all I will say is thank you. Thank you all so, so much. The majority of 2024 has been some of the most emotionally gruelling and toughest times we've experienced as a family, as I'm sure you're mostly all aware of. Obviously, because of this, priorities have shifted considerably for my life this year - hence the complete lack of streams or videos being uploaded. I'm also sorry that I never sent a Happy Holiday message when that time came, but after the amazing news that Cerys recieved a few weeks ago (she is currently cancer-free!), I basically shut the internet out of my life for most of Christmas and completely unwound.
Despite all of this though, every single one of you have been there. Without obligation or expectation, you have all STILL decided to send your generous support to us month after month. All I can do is once again promise you that all of your support goes directly into video production - specifically equipment, props and paying Olly for the many days he stays over to film my breakdowns. I know I keep saying this; but you all REALLY do not need to stay if you feel as though your support isn't being recipricated as often as you'd like. There will NEVER be any hard feelings or judgement - this page has always been more of a 'tip page' than a direct rewards page, so I never expect anbybody to stick around. Whatever the case, not only do I massively appreciate all of you, but so does Cerys and everyone else at home too.
Truth be told, even though Cerys' brutal battle has been the absolute worst thing for her and the rest of us (obviously), our luck has been pretty shocking ever since the end of 2022 with the amount of outside forces going wrong in our lives. I won't go into depth with it all - but it has definitely been rough. Not just with our family, but extended family as well.
As far as the future is concerned, I'd LOVE to promise that things will get better, but clearly I can't based on how disruptive such random life events can be and how unpredictable they are. I would absolutley LOVE to get more done in 2025. I love what I do and I have far too many notes stored up on my phone for the nonsense I want to put into videos. I've missed the buzz of uploading, seeing the immediate reactions, and then channeling that into the next project to keep the buzz going. I've missed interacting with all of you on live streams. I absolutely promise you I haven't gone anywhere, even though it might look like it! I'm still here, still kicking and still getting done what I can each and every day. I suppose if I have any advice for younger people reading this - it's that if you choose to work from home/be your own boss/run your own company etc, never ever ever EVER underestimate how much of your time can be taken up by life giving you shit!
The next video is 'The Ridiculous World of PS1 Cheats' and is looking to be about 2 hours long. I'm going through this book below and mentioning ALL 230 games that are featured in it. I don't 100% know when it'll be done, but I hope you're looking forward to it. I can't wait to get it done. 2024 can get royally fucked. Happy New Year, all of you! <3
