Brief Work In Progress Update here. I haven't done a great job of updating you all what I'm working on as of late, so trying to build the habit. We'll start with a short term update and then tease some bigger picture stuff.
SHORT TERM PROJECTS
The next episode of Baseball Bits will (hopefully) come out Saturday. If it's delayed, it'll be delayed until Monday of next week. The topic is Steve Dalkowski (pictured above), a career minor leaguer with a golden arm who is one of baseball's greatest "What If?" stories. If you don't know this player, it's completely understandable, but I would encourage you to wait until the video comes out to learn about him.
After that Baseball Bits and the conclusion of the MLB regular season, I'll be turning my attention to grading my postseason breakout picks on Foolish Bailey. It'll definitely be a mixed bag with some high highs and low lows.
LONG TERM
This is the first place I've shared this, but I'm going to be changing up my workflow starting in 2026, focusing just as much on Foolish Bailey as Foolish Baseball. This will mean more Foolish Bailey uploads and less Baseball Bits. But the Baseball Bits will be (1) significantly longer in duration and (2) sponsor-free. Patrons will also receive early access to these longer, more in-depth Baseball Bits in an attempt to restart the growth of this Patreon. I will post a video explaining why I'm doing this and what I hope to achieve from it heading into 2026, so need to ask questions now, but just thought you all should hear this from me first.
