Since the official devlogs are published bi-weekly, I’ve decided to start writing a Dev Diary during the off-weeks. These will be less formal and more personal, covering general progress, sneak peeks, inspirations, or even a bit of my personal life if I’m feeling whimsical.
Think of these as bonus content - feel free to skip them if they aren’t your thing, as they won’t contain any critical updates!
Development of Metamorph
Agent Feminine is a spiritual successor of my previous game, Metamorph. It was my first ever game made. Metamorph is... a complicated game. It was built on a 20$ vampire hunter mockup lecture for beginner Godot programmers, a dream, and prodigious amount of sexual craving.
While I spent a lot of effort and time on Metamorph, it had many functional flaws, mostly due to jury-rigged youtube tutorials and my own lack of skill. At one moment, I decided that it would be unconventional to keep developing the game because of the flaws - it would be faster to develop a new game than to overhaul the game.
While the development of Metamorph has stopped, I plan to overhaul it when I have the chance. I think it would be fun.
Agent Feminine and its development philosophy
The development philosophy of Agent Feminine hasn't changed a lot - since I'm still building on with shear willpower and prodigious amount of cravings for content I 'prefer'. I like corruption, futanari/dickgirl, feminization, and a little bit of transformation. I develop what I like, and hope you like it too.
While I would like to get some compensation for my time and effort on developing the game, I'll be just happy when players are happy playing the game. So don't feel awkward/hesitate on reporting bugs or having suggestions! I appreciate every one of them, and fix the bugs continuously.
The days are hot
God, it's hot these days. I'm hogging the fan all day when it's available. While I am doing personal studies and work to make a living, I listen to 'waterfall bgms' or 'ice ASMRs' to feel more cool. Well... it doesn't work very well, but it does make me concentrate a little better. It's more of a coping mechanism, I guess.
Thoughts about Discord
I've seldom used discord. I plan to activate a patreon-connected discord next week or so, but have no idea on how to operate it. If I use it, I'll use it like a dropbox for patron-exclusive devlog report, for update details which is hard to write in patreon itself. If not, I'll just upload the report as a pdf file for members to see. If you have any ideas or suggestions, contact me in any way!
Personal thanks to Patrons
I always am thankful to my patrons. Honestly, I thought at least half of my patrons would drop out when I moved on to develop a new game. Actually, I decided to drop them out myself, cancelling every plan tier since I thought one should get paid on an actual content, not promises of a non-existant content. I can say I was little more than surprised when a majority of my patrons kept the subscription even though there wasn't any.
I give my deepest thanks to my long-term patrons, and thanks to my new patrons for trusting me with the development of Agent Feminine. I promise to keep doing my best to make the game enjoyable and exciting.
