🐦‍⬛Progress 🐳+ 👺 New event? 🐔 + 😋Sketches 🦚+ 🦑Localization (again)😒

Hi guys, how've you been? 🤖

I've been working on a few things and wanted to share some progress.

First of all, I uploaded an .xlsx file in case anyone wants to help translate the game into another language.

For now, I only added Spanish (AI translated). I had to rework some parts of the localization  because I didn't take a few things into account the first time, but it iss finally working properly. Besides that, I've been fixing some bugs and issues left over from the last update.

If you'd like to play the game in your native language or any other language I'd really appreciate any help with the localization. 🐸I'll leave some instructions at the end of the post if you're interested. And of course if you have any questions about it don't hesitate to ask.

About the art and the new events, I finally settled on the design for the new character coming in the next update. I also updated Claire's dialogue sprites.

Btw, I finally got myself a screen tablet for drawing. 🙂 It took me a few days to get used to it, but I think I finally got the hang of it.

I've also started working on the new events. Before jumping into it I spent some days practicing to see if I could improve my art a little cause it's been a while since I did it and I felt like I'd been stuck at the same level for quite some time. 👽

I also tried experimenting a bit with different angles to see what I could come up with. I might be overdoing it but I don't want the game to become too repetitive visually and that there's always something "interesting" to look at. Idk, what do you think? 🐦

Instructions for contributing to the localization 📝

If you just want to suggest a few changes, you can leave comments directly in the spreadsheets I uploaded.

If you'd like to add a language that doesn't exist yet:

Download the spreadsheet as an .xlsx file.

Copy the language code and the first two rows from the "Language codes" tab.

Add them as new columns in the other sheets.

Fill in the translations for your language. You can use AI as a starting point if you'd like, but please don't contribute translations for a language you don't actually speak.
