May has come and gone and it's time for a look back on what all happened during the month!
First and foremost, I finished drawing issue 1 of Money Shot: the F*ck Offs which will be coming out August 5th. Now that it's properly announced, you can expect to be seeing some exclusive previews of the pages I've been working on. Nice.
I also completed two more pages of A Polycule of Mars. Oh boy, are Alvarez and Brinks getting into it. That's certainly not going to become a point of drama for our wayward astronauts.
I had originally planned to do more page work in May, but some things came up and I had to pivot to covers! The first four here are covers for upcoming Money Shot Omnibus Editions! Vault is planning to collect ALL of Money Shot into two sexy hardback volumes, and I'll have more info on those soon.
I also did some variant covers for LILITH and a new title called Perseus. Teasing those for the moment, but you'll get to be seeing their full glory soon!
And it wouldn't be a month without an exclusive pinup! The Life Guard Tier Patrons went all in voting for more Demon Layer art, and I was more than happy to oblige. One of these days I'll have to return to that world. So much left for Sister Chastity Hart to do...
We're already deep into June as this update posts. Largely because my trip to Toronto for TCAF stole my attention around the end of the month. I've never done a Canadian show (or been to Canada for that matter) and I'm pleased to say I had a great time.
I got to meet some longtime fans for the first time, which is always a treat. I got to meet new fans, which is a delight. I got to experience the excellent cuisine and terrible driving of Toronto. And I got to be on a panel talking about making adult comics in the modern age of censorship, which seemed to be a real hit. The room reached capacity, and they had to turn folks away at the door.
While I have no cons in June to distract me from making comics, I will be at Connecticon in July!
