I watched the last season of Beastars and was pretty interesting. I noticed there isn't a lot of dynamic villains in the show, so i came up with a rat inventor, that has a traumatic backstory.
When Hugo was young, he lost two of his best friends: Sakura, a sheep, and Hiroshi, a dark dire wolf. Hiroshi and Sakura were in a relationship until he believed that she had betrayed him with Hugo. Consumed by fury, Hiroshi trance into a feral beast and killed Sakura in an alley alongside Hugo. Hugo tried as hard as he could to stop him, but Hiroshi left him maimed, costing him a leg and leaving him helplessly watching as his best friend was devoured.
He quit school and focused on his inventions, eventually creating the first highly advanced prosthetic leg. The invention made him a billionaire, but money was never his true interest.
Ever since that day, Hugo has been haunted by the tragedy. He harbors a burning hatred toward the wolf and blames carnivores in general for their meat-eating instincts. As a result, he became a bounty hunter who targets carnivores and anyone who supports them. Killing them in the dark and with his technological inventions.
