DESCRIPTION

Hello and welcome to your first production update!

I am so incredibly grateful to have all of you believing in, and supporting this series. This really is a dream project working with these amazing actors and designing some truly salacious content!

It’s been an exciting year conceptualizing and developing this series. I started working on it back in February so I’m so happy it’s finally out in the wild! Though I’ve produced several audio series in my career, this is my first foray into NSFW, so I had a lot to learn and discover, lots of research to do, and lots of porn to consume...

I owe so much to the amazing cast. They really are all such wonderful, generous people. Generous with their advice, and their enthusiasm for what we’re building. They’ve also been so great in the lead up to the launch, recording little extra bits here and there, preparing announcements, giving feedback. They are what will make this series great, and I’m fortunate to have been in a position where I could bring this cast together. And now with your support we can keep this thing going full speed ahead!

This past month has been intense leading up to the launch, especially with respect to recording and sound design. A main focus with these first two episodes has been replicating that signature college atmosphere (aka rowdy students). Realistic ambience is key to immersion, and I always aim to include a variety of locations in each episode. Places like the campus quad, food hall, noisy dorms, all have their own ambience and reverb -- and you'll really notice it in the squash courts!

Progress-wise, I'm happily on schedule. I still have some work to do on Episode 2, mostly recording some remaining Foley, like footsteps and bean bags...

I actually spent much of my Summer building my own personal Foley recording space. Recording sound effects is (almost) always best done in a very acoustically-dead space, so I built a dozen or so acoustic panels and bass traps to make a space with near-zero reverb.

Here's a pic of the completed space. This is from recording a metal workbench to simulate the fire escape in the collab with Ally. If you haven’t heard it, listen HERE (it's a banger), and read the script with my notes HERE.

In addition to working on the series, Elly and I finished our collab. You can check out the audio HERE, and the script with my notes HERE. I asked so much of her with this script and she delivered an unbelievable performance.

Lastly, I commissioned some art for the Patreon banner that should hopefully be completed by the end of the month. I plan on adding regular character art commissions as perks as the Patreon grows!

I can't wait to share the first episodes with you next week!
