About work...
I've finished one commission and am working on others—nothing new under the sun. But I'm about to finish the first game update to test it; all that's left is to add the music and the translation.
I think the game is short and the hentai scenes are ridiculous because there's no “action,” but overall, the game might work just the way I want it to.
The idea is to add a main story once the game is finished. I’ve added everything I wanted for the game: a comparison system and the combat system. I’ll use both to let the player unlock more images.
Apart from all that, I’ve made a bit of progress on the exclusive comic and hope to have something to show soon, but I’m not sure.

Marisa Tomei in The Wrestler (2008). I haven’t seen this movie, but I think it’s one of those classic melodramas. In my experience, I’ve found very few movies and books that are good in the drama genre.
Most of them, in my opinion, either don’t reflect real life (the characters don’t behave naturally in the face of certain dramas) or the events are so exaggerated that the level of drama ends up veering into comedy.
Do you feel the same way? Did you like this movie? Do you think it’s possible to make a good drama? Have I lost my mind?
Aside work...
I’ve finished Cognitive Wars; damn books, I was happier when I just played video games. But there’s something liberating about books that I can’t quite put my finger on. Plus, sometimes certain authors are a bit negative in their work, which doesn’t reflect their real lives.
This book concludes, after explaining all sorts of cases of manipulative behavior by countries and institutions; some of them illegal, others not, with the phrase: “This is only the beginning of the problem...”
But on the typical thank-you page, the guy has the nerve to thank his daughter by saying, “Watching you grow up is the best thing in my life.”
So, am I crazy for thinking that this man is describing a dangerous future world where we’re only seeing the first steps toward darkness, but that he’s happy to watch his daughter grow up in that world? Am I missing something? If you think so, please comment; I really want to know.
It’s still a gem of a book.
Expedition 33 has a strange ending, and I'm not sure if it's a happy one, even though I've beaten both endings. Don't get me wrong—it's an amazing game with an amazing story—it's just a little sad.
I've started something else; next week I'll share some screenshots, as usual.
