Be pretty on Fridays...
About work...
This week I’ve made progress on the translation of the game and a DA commission.
After this one, I need to finish a Fallout commission and move forward with the other commissions I’ve mentioned over the past few months.
Luckily, my commissioners are very patien, thanks, guys!
During the game development process, I’m always struck by thoughts about changing things; I guess it’s because I work in a bit of a chaotic environment, jumping from one thing to another and jotting down notes so I don’t forget ideas.
Anyway, I’d better stop talking and get back to work.
Work proof, a panel from the new commission; I’ll wait until I have everything before sharing it.
The picture...
Thora Birch in The Hole (2000). I don't remember if I watched the whole thing or just saw a few clips and talked about it with some people...
I've always had a terrible memory, so this time it's not because of my age. If you haven't seen it, don't go looking for it—just try to remember to watch it later; I think you'll like it if you're into thrillers.
At least you can enjoy now this beautiful woman in a great frame.
Aside work...
There’s not much to say, other than that I spend my days working on the commissions and on the games.
My back is feeling much better; I just rest a little more in the mornings and take two breaks—one in the morning and one in the afternoon—to go for a short walk (about 15 minutes), and
I feel so much better, I’m a lucky guy!
Still, I’ve watched some videos to try to figure out how to build muscle safely. There’s so much information and so many different opinions (in my opinion it’s a total mess).
But in the end, I think the best thing is to start with something basic. I’ve read a bit about training to failure; I think it makes sense, so I’ll try it for a while and see how it goes.
It’s definitely better than sitting in front of a screen all day.
The Little Witch is a really beautiful and peaceful game. I’m also enjoying the little stories about the characters and the main story.
The song...
Everyone here knows that I'm a big fan of The OA and I love the character played by Jason Isaacs, so, with that in mind, my girlfriend told me to watch a video of him playing a singer from the 70's. I was amazed and she started laughing because it wasn't him but he looks like so...I asked: who is that guy? He is Brian Johnson from AC/DC in a band he had some years before he joined AC/DC, and I got surprised again because I didn't know he could sing in that style so different as he is known for.
Here's the video: the song is Goodbye Love by the band Geordie:
Geordie - Goodbye Love (1975)
As usual, stay safe and take care.
Thanks for the support!
