Enjoy the show on Fridays.
About work...
I've finished the first update for Dungeons and Dames.
As you can see, it's called “Demo,” because my original plan was to upload a demo to Steam, but after doing some research on the topic, I decided against it and to wait until the game is almost finished.
So I'm not quite sure how I'm going to handle it, but luckily, I can post updates on Fridays to let you know how things are going.
Apart from that, I’m finishing up the DA commission; that is, I’m finishing the coloring process and will upload the pages once I’m done.
Proof of work: another random panel from the comic.
The picture...
Mena Suvari in Sex and Lies in Sin City (2008).
I hadn’t seen this movie before, but it reminds me of a scene with Brianna Love as a stripper, so here it is.
The movie looks like a classic crime thriller. Personally, there are few movie with criminals I actually like; by the end of those movies, I can’t help but think about the victims’ stories. Just like those NPCs in Hitman (the game), damn it...
Anyway, ignore this rambling and enjoy the screenshot.
Aside work...
Right now, my back is about 85% better. The reason I’m not 100% is that I have to stay here in this chair for hours on end. I try to get up and
go for a walk for a while, but it throws me off—I hate it. Plus, my gym is closed, it looks like they’re making some changes there. I’m glad to hear that,
because there were broken machines everywhere; it’s not that you can’t use those machines, it’s a matter of basic safety, right?
The game The Little Witch is more interesting than I first thought. There’s a mystery in the game, let me explain.
The main character is a young witch who travels to witch school by train. The train breaks down, so she goes for a walk and discovers an old witch’s cottage where she falls asleep.
When she wakes up, the train is gone, so she heads to a nearby village where she pretends to be a local witch; there, the villagers (who are very few) tell her that some strange vines have destroyed the village. The game then lets you figure out a way to destroy those vines and build houses so that some people can return to the village.
In the midst of all this, a question arises: where is the real witch, the owner of the cabin?
The story unfolds little by little, and every detail raises a new question. I love it.
Also the pixel art looks incredible.
The song...
I chose this because of the picture of Jennifer Connelly.
As usual, stay safe and take care.
