Just look at the crowds on Fridays...

About work...

This week I finished the main storyline for “Dungeons and Dames.” I still need to proofread it and fix the grammar, but the main adventure is now complete.

I did the math (well, I just ran the files through a word counter—about 35,500 words, and then checked how long it takes to read that) and the reading time is about 3 hours, obviously depending on how fast you read. Is this important? No, but since I don’t have anything else to share besides the text, at least I’m giving you some irrelevant facts.

I have to write all the encounters and other text snippets I need for the game, like combat system events and things like that.

I think I’ll just write the encounters I need for the next update and start on the images; I’ll show you how they’re coming along as soon as I can.

Proof of work, the map for the Dungeons and Dames adventure.

The picture...

Jordan Ladd in Cub Dread (2004)

I just watched a few clips from this movie; it looks like another American black comedy from the 2000s. I remember there were a lot of movies like this back then.

I discovered it while reading a bit about Billy Paxton.

Hey, maybe I’m wrong and this is the best movie ever—I don’t know.

It’s hard to believe it’s been 22 years since that movie came out.

Aside work...

Another exhausting week, even if I haven't been to the gym...

I haven't started any new books since Subliminal.

I've played a little CS, but I'm still really bad at it; I'm too old for this nonsense now.

Anyway, it's been really hot here lately; I don't like the heat, but I don't like the cold either... I don't like the weather at all, let's move to some empty space; we'll be happy.

Have you noticed that I don’t have much to say this week because I spend all day here in front of the screen writing? Yeah, I’m sure you have.

No more nonsense for this week, you’ve had enough. You’ve read enough of an old man’s ramblings.

The song...

What about this classic song from an old movie.

Bastian's Happy Flight

I like the movie, even with its obvious flaws, but the book!

I really, truly love that book, written in green and red... what an incredible journey!

I wish you all the best, guys!

Remember to take care and stay safe!

Thanks for your support!
