Take a seat and enjoy! I'm currently working on Athiel's route. Next is the v-poly, then the end of the scene. I'll code everything once the scene is fully done and publish it. After that, there's just the last main scene to write!!!
Vince & MC scene again (main route):
Your breath catches in your throat, your eyes sting because of those damn tears already gathering at the corners. It's not the first time Vince tells you that, and you know it won't be the last, but still. Each time you hear it is a blessing.
Your arms wrap properly to pull him in a bear hug. "You're trying to make me cry?"
"No," he mumbles shakily.
Hearing him sniffle urges you to pull away to get a look at your brother—your brother who will always remain the little boy who sought you in the bad times just like in the good moments.
Lazins parents' route:
"We saw a book on your counter a while back when we dropped off cookies," Emilia explains, her voice bright with hope. "It was a suspense one too, so we thought you'd like it."
Your body goes rigid, tension forcing its way to your shoulders as your fingers grip the book a bit too tightly.
"That book?" Vince's voice cuts through your spiraling thoughts, and you glance over to see him frowning at you with concern written all over his face. "I thought you said you got rid of it...?"
You force yourself to take a breath, slow and measured, then nod. "Yeah, that book. I... couldn't throw it away."
"Oh," is all Vince can respond.
L's route:
You're almost shocked by the serious way $l_they takes i—
$l_They cradles the [redacted] in both arms, pressing several quick pecks on it, right under your eyes. Your brain is loading at the sight.
"I'll take care of you baby," $namel grins, lifting the [redacted] high above $l_their head and doing who knows what to that poor [redacted].
You bite back both exasperation and amusement as you lower $l_their hands sharply while being careful not to make $l_their present fall. "What are you doing?" you whisper-shout.
"What do you mean?" $namel lets out a disbelieving and delighted laugh. "I'm greeting my baby, obviously. Gosh, $name you have no idea how much I love it. I will keep the [redacted] forever."
