What if the Shadow Dragons made it into Dragonball Super? They have a bone to pick... but with a VERY specific individual, for obvious reasons, lol.
Side note (this is gonna be a bit of a rant): What annoys me about Dragonball Super (an aspect I praise DBGT for introducing as a concept) is how often the dragon balls are abused without any consequences, and how a lot of character decisions are now brushed away by simply wishing it away. Dragonball was always at its best whenever the magical orbs were used sparingly or were either in jeopardy, were being hunted by other parties, or were rendered unavailable thus unusable by the heroes to cover for all their mistakes. It meant consequences were long-lasting, impactful, or permanent, and raised the story stakes immensely. Dragonball GT improved upon this concept by adding a "monkey-paw" effect to the dragon balls, where if they are used too much, evil dragons appear to wreck shit, which I thought was awesome (granted it was executed rather haphazardly).
But in Super, you get none of the consequences or side effects once prevalent in earlier Dragonball. Not only do you have Whis and Beerus hanging around in the background to remove any threat or tension in any dramatic scenes, you also have a massive set of powerful, super giant dragon balls that can grant ANY wish without limitations and apparently a third set of dragon balls in universe 7 alone atop the ones on Earth AND Namek (if you also include DAIMA as possibly being included, you have a fourth set characters can locate)... I'm sorry, but there are just WAY too many conveniences available to the heroes now.
