Hey guys, Dev here!
Happy Easter! I hope you got plenty chocolate if you’re celebrating, and an excuse to eat a lot of chocolate even if you don’t, like me!
In any case… Things have been moving quite a lot in our daily life, which slowed down development for the March build (which got rolled into the April one as a result). Between looking for jobs, finding one, looking for places to live, it’s all been quite a blur. However, I guess I’ve now joined the U.S. of A’s workforce, and it’s been quite a trip. Enough about me, though!
This build features another, meatier, day in Nate’s route. Although the fox is giving the cat the cold shoulder, Ben is learning some big things about him and his entourage. Relationship troubles, am I right? This update also features a brand new sprite for Addy (who’s been sorely needing it). I’ve also been working on a few new sprite updates which will come out next time.
In slightly bigger news, I’ve outlined and sketched out the Russell side story people voted for a while back. I’m hoping to have it done in the next couple of months, as I plan for it to be a little meatier. It would be amazing if we could deliver both side stories (Jess’s accident, and Russell’s side story) for the same update, so I’ve been working towards that. Unlike the other side stories, however, these require entirely new sprites, CGs and backgrounds. They’re actually pretty massive undertaking that I’ve been working on the side, so it’s why it’s been taking a bit. I do hope you guys will like the final products, though!In any case… Enjoy the rest of your day… and don’t get sick by gorging yourself on chocolate like I’m doing right now. I know I’ll regret it, but damn it. Snacking is one of my deadly sins, I swear.
