To add more depth to combat, we implemented an elemental system similar to Pokémon and Palworld. (It will be added in the next update.)
We expect this to make boss-tier Fipet raids more strategic and fun, as players will need to examine (or infer) enemy elements and decide which Companion Fipet to bring into battle.
As for the exact formulas behind damage increases and reductions, we’ll leave that to the fan researchers who enjoy digging deep into game systems 🙂
In addition, there are also affinities between Materials and Weapon Types.
This system was already added in the previous update, but we thought it would be good to briefly introduce it here as well.
Each weapon has its own type:None, Slashing, Piercing, and Blunt.
Depending on the material type possessed by a Fipet or a natural resource, different weapon types may be more or less effective against them.
We are also preparing a Fipetpedia that will allow players to conveniently view all of this information, so please look forward to the next update!
