I just wanted to give a quick update on my health. The past few months have been rough, and I really wanted to believe that my stroke did not affect me very much, but it did. Recovery has been slower than I wanted, and I am dealing with frequent migraines, memory lapses, and sleeping through most hours of the day. It has been frustrating.
I work freelance, and I did not get a contract renewal for this year, which was expected. I am not in shape to return to work anyway. Right now, I am in a rough patch, and this Patreon has genuinely kept me afloat. Your support has taken a huge weight off my shoulders while I focus on healing. I was wanting to downsize my life anyway, so now I am kind of forced to.
I want to reassure everyone that I am still creating and still committed to this comic. I am going to keep churning out pages. Thank you so much for sticking with me, for your patience, and for supporting my work. It truly means everything to me.
