I also wanted to talk a little bit about the English and Japanese versions, making lip sync work properly for two different languages has turned out to be more complicated than I originally expected, with Nami & Robin, the animation was originally made for the English version, and personally I felt that the Japanese lip sync was a bit off.
For now, I’ll probably alternate between English and Japanese depending on the character and then revisit the other version later, especially for the intro and dialogue scenes.
The goal is still to support both languages, I just want to make sure the final result feels right.
