Okay, I do feel like I should make this post, since a lot of people are having a strong emotional response to the comic. I'm gonna have some spoilers for future Nino comics below, so please ignore this post if you don't want to see them.
Lyle is going to be alright, and there will be a happy ending ultimately. I must say, I am incredibly flattered that so many people seem to care so much for these doofy characters of mine. I truly underestimated how this would effect some people emotionally.
Ultimately, I understand that this is my story and I can do with it as I wish, and I'm not bending the knee to pressure or anything like that either. This has always been the plan, and I just wanted to assure people who got wrapped up in the characters well-being that they are going to be alright.
