DESCRIPTION

Let's take a short break from the exercises this weekend - I'd like to share some book recommendations with you! :) These books actually don't have anything to do with guitar playing, music theory, exercises, chords, scales, or any other topics.

A big question I got quite frequently here on Patreon and via email is how to stay motivated. How do you stay on the path? How do you keep working when you're frustrated? How do you find the inspiration to keep growing as a guitarist?

These are some of the things I found in today's books. We discussed 2 of them briefly last year but I'd like to dedicate more time to 'The Compound Effect' and 'Atomic Habits' today.

The two other books are called 'Cant' Hurt Me' and 'Discipline Equals Freedom: Field Manual' (I really recommend the audiobook on Spotify whenever you need an energy boost): https://open.spotify.com/album/3VHxlMnG9PDcXyzWrITCf6?si=rvNQVzHMSBWBJ3z3RmZc2wDid you read any of today's books already? Which books would you recommend to all guitar players out there? And most importantly: should we do this more often?NEXT WEEK, we will check out 6 amazing minor scale licks so that you have some awesome practical material to work with :) I already started production on the first wishlist topics (the results look pretty clear now), can't wait to share them with you later this month my friends! Have a great weekend!
