Welp, the remaining small things I wanted to finish after Chapter 2 are now done.
In short:
Removed most pauses in the auto-advance text (in both versions).
Already added the option to choose chapters after starting the game.
Changed a few moments in the script, but nothing significant for the plot.
The Russian version is now fully finished, and I’m waiting for it to be checked for typos before publishing it on the website (and updating the English version as well).
Moving on to Chapter 3.
It will mostly focus on the characters’ past:
On resolving misunderstandings and disagreements between them:
And, of course, on the relationship between the two main characters, with more long scenes focused on the two of them.
I haven’t started writing the script yet, so I don’t know how long it will take, but I think I’ll begin this weekend. Right now, I have at least 28 planned scenes, which is already more than in Chapter 2, and I may still add more.
Of course, there’s always a chance that I’ll cut some of them, change them, or move them to future chapters. Still, I can assume that Chapter 3 will not be shorter than the previous one.
Now for the bad news for those waiting for sex scenes in Chapter 3 — they won’t be there. NOT YET.
In this story, I’m following the concept used in Japanese visual novels: for now, the chapters mainly focus on collecting "flags" that will unlock different routes in the future, depending on how many of them you have.
And if you’re aiming for the good ending, some special scenes may unlock in Chapter 3, which I’m (hella) looking forward to making~
My main rule is to develop things smoothly and gradually, but without dragging the story out with too much filler.
Well, that’s the main information I wanted to share.
This month (March 2026) will be quite busy for me overall, since besides my job, a lot of urgent document-related matters have come up.
Still, I’m looking forward to making this chapter, even though I’m a bit worried that the development might stretch out for months again...
