Wheeeeeeeee! I feel like the arc is really starting to find its feet now; we're kinda at the end of the beginning, I think? All the elements are on the board, the state of play is ready to unfold, and Maisie is beginning to ... change? Maybe? I'm not sure how she feels about that. She surprised me a few times during this chapter, pushing in directions for which I had not planned. Which is wonderful! I still cannot express how great it is to have her doing all this; I feel like I'm just along for the ride! And so are you, dear readers! I hope you're enjoying it too!
Meanwhile, I have yet more art to share from the discord this week! This one is something real special. Simply titled 'Toxic', (by Cera!) this piece directly illustrates one of Maisie's most defining character moments thus far, to put it lightly. She is a little toxic, don't you think?
