And thus the mysteries of our magical menagerie begin to melt into morbid musings. Or maybe I just felt like a bit of alliteration, for fun. Ahem. Seriously though, Octavia's got a lot to learn, and she's finally getting underway??? Well, sort of. I can't say much more about the chapter here, of course, not until you've read it!
I seem to mention arc length and plans in every single chapter post lately, and I hope that's interesting, getting a little glimpse of the process behind the scenes and all that; I guess in part it's because I'm trying to be so much more careful and deliberate with structure in Maidens, trying to put into action everything I've learned in the past. Anyway, point is, plans have once again adjusted! Arc 4 will be going to 8 chapters, absolutely for certain. But not more than 8. And then we'll be onto arc 5, the title of which I have yet to reveal, for ... reasons. Ehehe.
