🔹TLDR: Pausing Patreon for a month - just to take a lil break.
🔹Billing: Current members will not be charged during the pause (only new members on sign-up).
🔹Patreon: I’ve been thinking about what else I want to do here. I keep bringing up comics and I think it’s time to actually sit down and do it. A short smut one at first to test the waters :D. Though I’m unsure how it would work for posting a comic on Patreon tiers…Will have to do some research on that bit.
So far I’ve written out a timeline plan of what I’d like to do. How much time I want to give myself, what steps I need to take to get things done (maybe a little over planning haha). I know I have all the tools needed - starting is the main obstacle now.
I still have a tiny backlog to catch up on - only a handful of Top Dog requests left! And we have plenty of poll winners to choose from for pics as well. I may need to rework the “Poll tier” (Beta) itself, because I feel like I’m not doing enough for the tier? Hmm.
I technically don’t have a schedule for Patreon (just a self imposed one in my head heh). But as I always say: I wanna make sure you all are getting your money's worth. I’m very aware of when I’m not posting in a timely manner, and I do feel a lot of guilt about it (all of it self imposed of course). Just need to get a good ‘groove’ going again, hence the pause.
🔹Life in general: These past few months have been very bleh. I think most of you can relate to that. I’ve been taking care of my rapidly aging grandparents, and dealing with some hard lows in general. It’s just been dragging on for months now, and it’s definitely been getting to me. Making it difficult to sit down to draw, or even read fics for fun :(. Trying to slowly pull myself out of it; making plans and trying to keep optimistic.
