v1.2.1 ~ Routing fixes & updated maps

TruckSim GPS v1.2.1 is now ready to download on Google Play and Apple App Store.

The 1.2.0 navigation rework was one of the biggest changes to the app since launch, and with a change that big, some issues slipped through, especially for multi-mod setups.

Some of you probably noticed routes improving over the past weeks already (several fixes went out server-side, no app update needed). v1.2.1 wraps it all up with the client-side fixes and the latest map mod versions.

Routing should be as reliable as it used to be, with all of the improvements and lane-directions working as expected.

🐛 Fixed

Fixed the routing issues introduced in 1.2.0. The update reworked the foundations of the route-calculation system (adding lane support), which raised the error rate. Now fixed:

Routing errors with map mod combinations when there were actually valid routes available

Invalid long detours and deviations

Wrong-way paths being suggested in some spots

Fixed inverted lane directions in left-hand-traffic areas like the UK

Fixed the "More American Cities" map (its new cities were missing in 1.2.0)

Fixed flickering in some map areas

Map area colors are now more consistent and accurate

Fixed "City not found" errors when routing to certain cities

Routing can send you to the wrong company when two companies share the same name in a city

What's next?
