🍓 June Update 🍓

I had speech therapy on Monday, and my recovery is still going well! It's just an up and down process as I just reached two months post op, meaning my voice is still settling, strengthening, etc.

I have good days and less than good days. But never bad or hoarse days anymore! There's noticeable improvements every few days/every week, and it's super motivating! You just never realize how much conscious effort it takes to sing or voice act until stuff like this happens, so my voice feels like a baby now like "uhhh??? singing??? voice acting??? WHAT'S THAT"

My next speech therapy appointment is July 7th and I'll be getting scoped again just to double check that everything is still healing normal. I haven't felt anything odd with my voice to assume otherwise, but it's just standard. Still aiming for a mid or end of July gradual return since I'm expected to be almost at 100% after 3 months post op, but if my voice still needs a bit of time, it could be August. Second half of July is the goal I'm aiming for though!

I also have two super important appointments in August unrelated to voice stuff but I'll elaborate more on those when the time comes 🫶
