Freshly minted Deputy Sherriff Lilly Duncan woke late, and emerged after hearing the sound of packing crates being dragged and cracked open in the street. Two filthy young women - the Carter sisters - were busy stealing supplies from the crates they'd opened. They paused to look at Lilly innocently before giving her the finger.
