Sinabel is a hymn sung backward. Once Anabel of Cloudcrest, she was born beneath an unfortunate blood moon that twisted celestial perfection into something inconveniently half-demonic. The council tried to hide it. Sent her to the underworld, only to retrieve her after one archangel exclaimed, "I can fix her!". They proceeded to hide her tail. Polished her halo. Dyed her angel ears white. But they couldn’t hide the real problem; two minds sharing one body.
One angelic. Soft spoken. Earnest. The other vulgar, blasphemous and deeply committed to vandalizing sacred monuments with lewd reinterpretations.
Her exile was inevitable. Cast from Cloudcrest’s highest peak (a second time), she was meant to join the forgotten fallen. Instead she fell straight into the underworld’s winding arteries and directly into Zenica’s path. While the other fallen begged or attempted to seduce the dragoness, Sinabel argued theology with herself and demanded purpose. Zenica was risibly smitten as a result.
Centuries later, Anabel fully emrbaced the second entity. Sinabel Astrius rose as her other half. A self-taught necromancer, dark mage and the Starbreaker’s most coveted lieutenant. She now acts as Zenica’s voice in councils and courts alike, negotiating treaties one moment and threatening existential collapse the next.
Sweet as a choirgirl when it suits her. Completely fucking feral when it doesn’t.
Trait: Can deliver a blessing and a death threat in the same breath... sometimes accidentally.
Our Isekai Protagonist
It’s finally time to reveal the male lead who gets isekai’d into the world of Lustrya and yes, we’re addressing the helmet immediately.
Before fate tossed him into a matriarch ruled dimension, he was just your average guy on Earth with Wi-Fi and questionable late night decisions. One evening during a private cam session with his favorite adult V-tuber, she dared him to put on a particularly ridiculous kinky helmet for “immersion.” He shrugged, strapped in and promptly got zapped by lightning mid-gooning session (a perfect 5/7 for storytelling).
Beyond the in-world chaos and comedic timing, the design choice was intentional from a player perspective.
We didn’t want to lock him into a very specific face. By keeping it hidden and his features ambiguous, we avoid catering to one specific preference over another. No predefined hairstyle, set facial structure or rigid personality baked into his appearance. The helmet basically creates space for interpretation.
