I spent all weekend curled up pathetically on the couch sick. But thankfully, I'm feeling better again. Not well enough to work all day, so... Instead of a bonus page, I offer you this page I cut. Behold my sloppy thumbnails! (Sorry 😅) It was going to be a Halloween page. I won't get in to why I cut it. Writer reasons. 🤷♂️ When creating a page, I write it first. Then draw the thumbnails (super rough fast drawings, just to get an idea of the angle, pose etc) while putting in the text. Then I tighten it up with rough drawings, then ink it, then colour. So this is the first step, the thumbnails. It still takes me about a day to lay all this out. So cutting it costs me time, but the end result is what's important.
