People seemed to enjoy the OC drawing a lil while ago, so I've made another one! Chita is, to this day, my favourite RPG character that I've played/run! Very different tonally than all of the other characters I"ve gotten to play. Maybe being a menace is just fun...
Chita facts:
Half gnome half halfling, dropped on her head as a baby, which maybe contributed to her strangeness
Spent a good portion of time disguised as a giant white weasel in Icewind Dale to avoid the notice of predatory creatures (the campaign she was originally from)
Usually magically disguised as a young magic academy student or human child when in populated areas, since her appearance is very... Striking. She also has a very large number of "kill on sight" bounties out for her, which makes things inconvenient.
Very suspicious of other mages, especially wizards. Believes they are all hubris filled monomaniacs that are out to get their hands on her research and artifacts at any cost (this is usually not the case, she's just projecting)
The reason she "amputated" her arm was because she was constantly cold, and it kept getting injured. The party picked up an illithid head-detaching collar, and a sinister prosthetic limb during their adventures, and she decided to make use of it
Later in her life, she created a clone of herself and foolishly Awakened it (wanting it to be her lab assistant), which is a big no-no, since magical clones are known to turn against their creators if they are not inhabited by the creator's soul. This clone promptly enchanted her, hijacked her lichification apparatus, and became a successful and well loved arcane researcher at a prestigious instatution.
Rarely bathes, preferring to instead simply prestidigitate herself clean. (This has led her skin and hair to become incredibly dry and brittle)
Most of her injuries were self inflicted during magical experiments performed on herself. Many failed, many succeeded. She considers it an acceptable trade-off.
Extremely clingy if anyone shows her any amount of friendiness, prone to becoming overprotective
