Yet another sketch! New hardware makes me wanna try new things, I guess! By totally coincidence the colors match my keyboard too!
This time I actually managed to go fast! It took about 30 minutes for the Chen and 5 minutes for the blood (and I found out the "dry oil" brush is perfect for it). The most time by far was spent on her vest lol . I don't know how speedpainters manage to fully paint things in 30 minutes, it boggles my mind to this day...
I ended up skipping the blocking step that I always do entirely, so just a simple frame, then right to lines. Felt very weird for me, but I guess it was quicker (but at what cost?)
The lines feel very rough and disconnected, but I think overall it's still coherent enough! Definitely not something I think is good enough to make for someone else, but it was fun to make for myself anyway. I'll probably try it again in the future!
