Another one that had been gathering dust for a while! But it is DONE! So, do you know what tazos are? If you lived in Mexico around the 90s, then you know that Sabritas (Lays) rolled out (with a LOT of uncertainty) a massive marketing campaign to appeal to kids, it was a surprise collectible disc inside their bags of chips, first gen was Looney Toons series but later on we got a Pokémon series! They were a massive hit and every kid wanted to have them all, we collected, exchanged, sold and most importantly, played with them!
They were finally discontinued in 2010 following the shifts in the market, and I wish i had kept my collection, but I revived them by making this collage and adding some Pokémon’s from later generations (only 1st and 2nd gen were made into tazos). It’s not the same, but I certainly enjoyed making it and the nostalgia trip made it even more worth it hehe.
