wew...! in usual fashion, i thought i'd finish a lot earlier but put in a lot more details and trying new things out that it ended up taking super long again... to make up for it, i put in a little extra for the nsfw bonus ;) i feel like it's the best bonus panel i've done so far, but maybe that's just me. i still want to go even further, but i need a lot of practice and study (translation: i'm going to consume copious amounts of "material" to study their techniques) some stuff before i feel confident enough to use them in the bonus panels.
with that being said, i think i've decided on 2 things with this comic. first, i have to commit to only making these comics 3-4 panels unless im only changing text bubbles. you can see it in this comic, but i'm redrawing/shading/lighting entire panels just to add a bit of subtle movement/changes and it's incredibly time-consuming at this level of detail. i also need to condense jokes/motion anyways, so it works out for me. second, i think i'm going to drift away from the premise of "work shenanigans at a supermarket". it'll allow for comics like this and other wacky stuff happen and just be better for the comic going forward. i wish i knew i would've come to this decision before i made all my socials, since the "Super" in "Isekai Super" stood for supermarket...
as always, thank you so much for your support as i continue to better my craft here. i said it in the previous post, but i'll also generally be trying to "simplify" some of the way i draw while still keeping the quality so that i can pump out comics faster for you all. there's a ton of refining i do, like making sure the lineart is as smooth as possible, but a lot of it honestly isn't that noticeable, espcially when just flipping through the comic. things like that is where i'll probably be making most of my changes, so hopefully any changes won't be noticeable unless you pay very close attention.
oh also! the bonus panels hint towards why abby usually has bangs over one eye and the common theme of needing to "suppress her powers" :) it's only really relevant for lewd purposes but maybe i'll explore the topic in the sfw comics eventually.
