I tried adding a "western comic" feeling to the illustration with sharp edges, solid shading and thick lines.
Ngl, I did struggle a bit to find a neutral point in which final result did not end being either too simple or unnecesarily detailed. I just hope the dialogue does not feel too off/out-of-character.
BG was not planned at first but in the end I decided to add it. Still not used to produce "characters in white voids" type of illustrations.
Anyway, part 1 is complete. There's still 2 more parts left to do.
I'll do my best to bring these faster now that I have solved the visual concept problem with Pt1
