Hello and welcome to this week's Gacha Cummy Public Release Update! That's right! Today everyone gets the chance to challenge the King and fully explore the city of Clawhaven. You can find the download links and patch notes down below!
The Beastman Kingdom Arc has been a monumental undertaking for us. For the first time, we were able to tell one large, continuous story as you ventured through the wilds and carried out your service to the Goddess. However, as many of you likely noticed, our focus throughout the arc was almost entirely on delivering that story. While we're incredibly proud of what we managed to create, that heavy narrative focus came at a cost.
Throughout development, we found ourselves constantly shifting priorities, delaying features, and in some cases, cutting content that simply couldn't be finished in time. Between ambitious goals, growing scope, and our own deadlines, there were many things we wanted to add but couldn't quite fit in.
That said, with the Beastman Kingdom Arc now complete, we're hoping to leave those growing pains behind us.
This arc brought some of the biggest additions the game has ever seen. From the Pet System, to Unique Weapons, to the newly introduced Quest Adventure Mode, each update expanded Gacha Cummy in ways we hadn't attempted before. Now that the story arc has reached its conclusion, we finally have the opportunity to focus on areas that haven't received nearly as much attention over the past few updates.
That’s right, we're talking about CONTENT!
We're not quite ready to reveal everything we have planned, but we are confident you'll like what's coming next. Our goal for the upcoming updates is to deliver content at a much faster pace while also making sure we finish existing promises before piling on new ones. There are plenty of things we've wanted to add for a long time, and we're happy to finally start tackling them.
Additionally, those of you who frequent our Discord may have already seen our announcement regarding the upcoming balance changes. We're currently looking at some major adjustments to the buff system in an effort to address the increasingly weird state of combat balance.
